Paul Duchesnay
Paul Duchesnay , born in Metz the July 3rd 1961, is a artistic skater French and Canadian. He represented mainly the France, but also the Canada in dance on ice with his sister Isabelle Duchesnay.
Afflicted of the policy of the Canadian Association of figure skating of time and after disappointing a third place with the Canadian championships, those use of their double citizenship to represent the France.
Their choreographer was Christopher Dean, Olympic champion of 1984.
They became world champions in 1991. Big favorites of the Winter Olympics of 1992 with Albertville, they nevertheless were beaten by Klimova - Ponomarenko.
