Paul Delaroche

Paul Delaroche , born the July 17th 1797 with Paris where he died the November 4th 1856, is a painter French.

Born Hippolyte Of the Rock, it is resulting from an easy family. It was wire of an expert in tables. Paul Delaroche is pupil of Claude-Henri Watelet then of Jean-Antoine Gros. Delaroche begins with the Living room from 1822.

He had married a girl of Horace Vernet, whose untimely death obscures its last years.

One counts among his pupils the painters Jean-François Millet, Jean-Leon Gérôme, Charles-François Daubigny, Felix Hullin de Boischevalier, Jacques-Emile Lafon, François Tabar like three among the most important photographers of their time: Gustave Gray Henri Secq, Charles Nègre.
