Paul Courbis , born the November 3rd 1967, is a Programmeur French, mainly known for its work of Reverse engineering on the computers HP-28 and HP-48, and to have written many articles and books explaining its results. These books had one big hit in France. One of them was translated into American.
Enough quickly, a group of enthusiastic was formed, meeting in the buildings of the store " Maubert Electronique" , a small shop of the Latin Quarter, team which developed a great number of utilities and plays (one of most impressive being a clone of Pacman for the HP48, one of the first programs drawing left the capacity from scrolling hardware this machine). Many these programs are always available on the Net and find their origin in the work published by Paul Courbis.
Paul Courbis is currently Chief technical officer within the DSI of the Council of State, he also works during his leisures with the development of a series of tools intended for the administrators of PABX Alcatel of the type 4400.
