Paul Benjamin is the pseudonym used by the American writer Paul Auster. (1947 -) It published under this pseudonym the detective novel Fausse ball and allotted this name to the one of the characters of Smoke. He is author of the New Yorkean trilogy, saluéé by great authors like Beckett or Kafka.
