Paul Bézine

Paul , François Bézine , lawyer, Royalist militant and Journalist French born on March 25th, 1861 with Brienon-l' Archbishop (Yonne) and deceased on November 1st, 1928 with Paris, 6th district.

It was one of the founders of Royalist association Jeunesse in 1890 and he will become the president in 1896 about it.

He directed the office Politique of the duke of Orleans of 1900 (approximately) at 1908. This station, it had succeeded André Buffet which had proposed itself the candidature of Bézine for the Prince after being condemned to the exile following its participation in the fallen through Coup d'etat of Paul Déroulède and of the Ligue of the French fatherland in 1899.

Initially named on a purely provisional basis, Bézine obtains very quickly, on a purely final basis, the post of head of the political office of the duke of Orleans. In 1908, he resigns with the agreement of the Prince to become administrator of the goods of the duke of Orleans until 1915.

Following its resignation, initially Roger Lambelin succeeds to him which had to resign because of its too great proximity with the French Action. Lambelin is followed of the count Henri de Larègle who resigns in 1912 whereas the movement of French Action succeeded, this time, to take again some " ascendant" on the Applicant with the throne.

Parallel to this engagement near the Prince, Bézine collaborated in particular in the royalist newspaper the Sun and ensured the direction of the national Correspondance .
