Paul Antier , Politician French, born with the Puy-en-Velay in Haute-Loire, the May 20th 1905, deceased the October 23rd 1996 with Antibes, was appointed Haute-Loire and minister under the IV {{E}} République.
Political career
Country deputy of the Haute-Loire, sympatisant French Popular party of Jacques Doriot, it represented this department without interruption since 1936 until 1958. He is the first member of Parliament to join the Général de Gaulle even if he voted the full powerss with the Maréchal Pétain.He was general secretary then president of the country Parti and director the country Unit.
He refused to join the National center of independent the. He planned to be candidate with the presidency of the Republic in 1965 but withdrew himself in favor of Jean Lecanuet.
He was mayor of Laussonne of 1933 to 1947 and general adviser of 1936 to 1958.
