Paul A. Rothchild
Paul A. Rothchild (April 18th 1935 - March 30th 1995) was an important producer of disc of the end of the year 1960 and beginning of the year 1970. Born in 1935 with Brooklyn (State of New York), it grew in Teaneck, in the New Jersey. He dies into 1995 of the continuations of a lung cancer.
Its career begins on the scene Folk from Boston. He becomes producer for the recording company of Jac Holzman, Elektra Records, in 1963.
Paul has Rothchild is mainly known to have produced all the albums of the group The Doors, except L.A. Woman , following dissensions with the group. He also produced albums and individual of Tom Rush, The Lovin' Spoonful, Tim Buckley and Janis Joplin, of which its last album, Pearl .
