Paul-Claudel college

The college Paul Claudel is located at Wassy in Haute-Marne, in the academy of Rheims.

The college counts, for the year 2007-2008, 408 pupils divided into 18 classes. The taught languages are English, German, Spanish and Latin.

The college contains a boarding school. The Chief of establishment is Mr. Jean Marc PARIS.

Sporting section kayak

The college contains a sporting section of Kayak. It was created in 1993 by the professor of EPS, Alain Annesser. To enter there, the selection takes place during the class of CM2, in the neighbouring elementary schools. The selected pupils are 12 per annum and will have, during their 4 years of college, of the hours devoted to the Kayak. Many events are organized around the kayak like the participation in the téléthon, " 8 hours of kayak in fête" , academic championships… Moreover, each pupil kayaker on the occasion, twice during its years college, to leave in different French areas to practice the water running kayak.
