Paul-Alfred Isautier

Born the June 29th 1911 and deceased the September 5th 1984, Paul-Alfred Isautier is a Politician French which was Sénat or of the Réunion between 1959 and 1974.

Biography

Engineer council of profession, it is invested in the Distillerie of his/her Paul father around 1935 and inserts it in the years which follow in the era of the Rhum of Sucrerie, that which one manufactures starting from the Mélasse. Called Ti' Fred, he becomes the managing director in 1951 and starts about it the Diversification of his activity by creating a branch devoted to the building and the public Travaux.

It is named to advise French Union in 1955 then elected with the French Sénat the April 26th 1959. It then yields the destinies of the Établissements Isautier to his Charles brother. He is re-elected the September 26th 1965 but in 1974 is not represented. Its second mandate is completed on October 1st of this year. However, become mayor of the commune of Saint-Pierre in 1966, it remains at this station until in 1982, date on which Élie Hoarau succeeds to him.
