Pattadakal

Pattadakal is a site of the State of the Karnataka in India, famous for its group of monuments which show experiments founders in the architecture of temples.

The characteristic of the place comes from the joint presence from the styles dravidien or Southerner and will nagara or Scandinavian Indian architecture. Among the remarkable temples, one can quote Virupaksha, Mallikarjuna and the temples of Papanatha.

The site of Pattadakal belongs to the world heritage of UNESCO.
