Patrick and Taeko Crommelynck
Patrick and Taeko Crommelynck étaent two traditional Pianiste S. Together, they formed the Duo Crommelynck .
Patrick Crommelynck, born in 1947, had had as professors Stefan Askenase with Brussels and Victor Merjanov with Moscow.
Taeko Crommelynck, born Kuwata in 1945 with Hiroshima, had studied with Kazuko Yasukawa with Tokyo then Bruno Seidlhofer with Vienna. It is at the University of Music, in the class of Dieter Weber, which they met.
Married in 1974, they specialized in the piano music with four hands, playing in many concerts throughout the world and recording many discs, crowned prestigious rewards, in particular the integrals of works for four hands of Dvořák and Schubert.
They gave each other death, without leaving explanation, on July 14th 1994 in their residence of Auderghem.
