Patrick Mennucci
Patrick Mennucci , born in 1955 with Marseilles, is a French politician, member of the Socialist party.

Patrick Mennucci is president of the group Socialiste at the Municipal council of Marseilles and deputy vice-president of the district council of Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure. He is a close relation of Ségolène Royal and was appointed assistant editor of his presidential campaign, initially for the internal nomination with the PS. In 2004 it directed two victorious electoral campaigns, those of the lists carried out by Michel Vauzelle to regional and by Michel Rocard to the European ones.
He is member of the direction and the national office of the Socialist party. Candidate with the legislative elections in the third district of Marseilles, it is beaten with the second turn, on June 17th, 2007 by the outgoing deputy, Jean Roatta.
Patrick Mennucci is in April 2007 the first to have proposed the extension of the Urban community of Marseilles towards the west of the pond of Berre, to amalgamate with the SAN West-Provence and to recover the professional tax generated by the industrialo-harbor zone, located on the territory of the commune of Fos-sur-Mer.
He published in November 2007 at Albin Michel My candidate a book which tells interior the presidential campaign of Ségolène Royal. This work is coécrit with the journalist Frederic-Joel Guilledoux.
