Patrick Mareschal

Patrick Mareschal is a French politician, member of the Socialist party and chair General advice of the Loire-Atlantique since March 2004, the first of left.

In the beginning statistician with INSEE, he is member of the National council of the statistical data.

General adviser of the eleventh canton of Nantes since 1985, it was re-elected in 1992,1998 and 2004.

With the Town hall of Nantes, he was assistant of Alain Chénard of 1977 with 1983 and first assistant of Jean-Marc Ayrault of 1989 with 2001.

Favorable to the return of the Loire-Atlantique in the Area Brittany, like Jean-Yves Le Drian but contrary with Jean-Marc Ayrault and Jacques Auxiette, he was the cofounder and chair Comité for the administrative unit of Brittany, renamed from joined together Brittany.
