Patrick Grainville

Patrick Grainville is a French novelist born on June 1st 1947 with Villers-on-Sea (Calvados). It passed its childhood to Villerville, small commune located at the east of Deauville.
Aggregate professor of letters, it obtains the Prix Goncourt 1976 to 29 years for its fourth novel, the Blazing S .
Patrick Grainville wrote much on Africa, where it carried out a mission of co-operation.

Its last novel, the wounded hand (2005), confronts the author with famous writer's cramp. Grainville announced there also its perception of the trade of professor of the secondary . In the life, he is French professor to Welsh the Evariste College with Sartrouville.

Patrick Grainville is also critical with the literary Figaro .
