Patrick Braouezec

Patrick Braouezec (to pronounce Braou' E zec), French politician, born the December 11th 1950 with Paris, teacher with Saint-Denis, during a score of years.

He is re-elected appointed the June 17th 2007, for XIIIe legislature (2007 - 2012), in the 2nd district of the Seine-Saint-Denis. Within the French Communist party, it belongs to the reforming movement.

Former Mayor of the Commune of Saint-Denis, of 1991 to 2004, it left this function, which its former First assistant succeeded to him, to assume the chairmanship of the Communauté of agglomeration Plaine Commune.

For the presidential election of 2007, Patrick Braouezec supports the candidature of Jose Bove, although 81% of the militants of its party decided in favor of Marie George Buffet at the time of an internal vote the December 20th 2006.
