Patrick Augustine Sheehan
Patrick Augustine Sheehan (1852 - 1913) was priest Catholique Irish, Romancier and Politician. Named cleaned parish of Doneraile, in the County of Cork in Ireland, on July 4th 1895, it began a literary long career dedicated to the development of an Irish catholic English literature.
Youth
Patrick Augustine Sheehan was born on March 17th, 1852 to 29 New Street in the town of Mallow. He is the third of the five children of Patrick Sheehan and Joanna Regan. According to the register of the baptisms of the parish, small Patrick Augustine was baptized in the parish church by the priest, Reverend Dr. J.C. Wigmore, the godfather being Mr. Timothy Cronin and the godmother étante Mrs. Mary Ann Relehan.
