Patricia Hearst , born Patricia Campbell Hearst the February 20th 1954 with San Francisco, heiress of the press baron William Randolph Hearst, was removed in February 1974 by the Armée with release symbionaise. A grouping which, instead of a ransom, will require that food be distributed to the needy one.

His/her father will organize in front of supermarkets the distribution of food, but most astonishing is the rallying of Patricia Hearst to the cause of her kidnappers.

Gained by the Syndrome of Stockholm, the heiress takes part in holds-up (under the name of war of “Tania”), and will be condemned for these facts to seven years of prison, pains reduced at two years by the US president Jimmy Carter.

After its custodial sentence, Patricia Hearst Marie with her bodyguard, Bernard Shaw. She currently lives with her husband and her two children in the Connecticut.

Its history inspired Michel Berger which wrote a musical comedy, Angélina Dumas (1975), finally given up, but of which it will take up the idea during its collaboration with the Québécois Luc Plamondon for the writing of the Opéra-rock Starmania (1978).

The notoriety of Patricia Hearst is partly due to its participation in various films. She played indeed in several films of John Waters: Cry-Baby , Serial Mom , Pecker , Cecil B. DeMented and has Dirty Shame .
