Patrice Villaumé
Patrice Villaumé is a professional musician, specialized in the musics with character " modal" . Mainly viellist, it also plays of other instruments, like the flute in bamboo or the psaltérion.
Biography
Patrice Villaumé begins the Vielle near Jean-François Dutertre in 1978.
It is devoted to it completely after its meeting with Pascal Lefeuvre in 1990. It takes part in the adventure of Viellistic Orchestra to the ordering of the prototype of electroacoustic hurdy-gurdy tenor invented by the violin maker Philippe Mousnier in 1994.
After having recorded a score of CD, it creates in 2005 “Estampies Tunisian” a fusion between the Western medieval music and the Eastern tradition.
He also collaborates in the Troubadour Art Together since 1999.
