Patrice Pilgrim
Born with Brest the November 2nd 1955, wire of a prefect who never remained a long time in the same area, Patrice Pellerin lived in twenty-two different cities and even during three years with Madagascar, before settling in Landivisiau, not far from the sea which offers its decoration to the characters that it creates. Michel-angel or nothing! Such was, for a long time, its currency. Difficult to be more an autodidact: he learns the alone drawing, while copying the Masters whom he admires, painters of the Rebirth or the Great century. The place of Michel-Angel being already taken, and that of nothing hardly interesting it, it is resigned to being itself, Pellerin, a mixture of traditional measurement and imagination, taste for the adventure and formal elegance. He works a time in Rheims in a studio of cartoon, then discovers the strings of the trade near Pierre Joubert.
He is the author of the cartoon the Sparrowhawk , nickname given to a corsair of the king French at the 18th pirate century and old. He is called the Sparrowhawk of Crozon but its true name is Yann, the knight Yann de Kermeur.
