Patrice Caumon

Patrice Caumon (born the April 17th 1944 with Châteaudun) is a French artist.

Formed in its youth by a Spanish painter, it continues to practice painting during its career of professor of Philosophie and Psychopédagogie. It is impassioned in particular for the Aquarelle.

In 1975, it enters to Dargaud, the editor of Cartoon where he was artistic director, before passing to the weekly newspaper Pilote until 1987.

Already illustrator and creator of Publicity S, Patrice Caumon founds his own agency, graphic Directions in 1987.

In June 2006, is emitted its first postage stamp drawn for La Poste for the centenary of the Open of France of Golf.

It is, with Gerard Mordillat, Henri Cueco, Jacques Jouet, Herve Tellier, Lucas Fournier and others, one of the “papous” of the emission of France-Culture Of Papous in the head , founded by Bertrand Jerome and animated by Francoise Treussard.
