Pasteurella
Pasteurella is one of Bactérie to coloring negative Gram, anaerobe optional, positive Catalase. The cell S are ovoid with bacillar.
The Pasteurella are commensaux and parasite S of the mucous membranes of the higher breathing apparatus, digestive system, oral cavity of the mammals (seldom of the Man) and oiseaux.
Pasteurella is a Bactérie described in 1879 by Henry All Saints' day and Louis Pasteur. Their work allowed the etiologic discovery of the agent of the disease known as of the Choléra of the hens (Pasteurella multocida or Septica), as well as vaccination with attenuated germs.
