Past anterior
The past anterior is a time of the conjugation of the verbs French. It is a time made up of the indicative mode.
Use
The past anterior expresses an action former to a preterit. Example: As soon as it had finished speaking, it left
Conjugation
The past anterior builds with the auxiliary verb being or to have (as in the made up past) with the preterit followed by the last Participe of the verb.Verbs of the first group
