Passive solar energy
The solar energy passivates is a renewable energy which supposes the design of buildings and the installation of the suitable components of construction (écoconstruction or structures Bioclimatique) in order to use the solar energy for the daylight, the heating of the buildings and/or the air-conditioning of the buildings. In addition to reducing the consumption of energy, a paramount advantage that gets passive solar energy is the comfort felt by the occupants.
The passive solar heating functions as follows; the luminous energy of the Sun which penetrates inside the parts by the windows is absorbed by the walls, the floors and the pieces of furniture, then released in the form of heat. Picture windows as well as the thermocirculation make it possible to make decrease consumption in other energies. It makes it possible to heat water by circulation of liquid coolant in tubes heating the water balloon (there are 2 types of circulations: forced with a pump or the spontaneous one thanks to the natural increase of heated liquid)
Certain buildings being occupied only of day (as the schools) can make very strong economies (up to 100% in certain Spanish schools). The solar liability thus does not apply only to the individual dwellings but also to the housing units collective commes the hospitals, the barracks…)
For the realization of a wall using passive solar energy, to see the article Wall Waterspout.
It is one of the possible solutions adopted by the approach HQE. For the construction of a building using passive solar energy, to see the article Maison passivates.
