Passériformes

The order of the Passériformes is largest of the class of the Oiseau X: more half of the species of birds are indeed Passereau X.

Formerly called perching birds or songbirds (what is less suitable), the passériformes is among the Vertébré S which have the most success: there are of them approximately 5.900 Espèce S, that is to say about the double of the number of species of the vastest order among the Mammifère S, the Rongeur S.

The group is named according to the Latin name House sparrow, Passer domesticus .

Only certain varieties of passériformes are recognized like domestic by the French legislation in the official list of the Department of the Environment.

Characteristics

Many sparrows are songbirds which have complex muscles to control to them Syrinx; all open their nozzle to be made nourish when they are with the Nid. They have four fingers, three forwards and worms the back (the inch).

The majority of the sparrows are of size smaller than the birds of the other orders.
