The commune of Paslières is adherent Regional natural park Livradois-Drill.With the Eastern borders of the commune, a rock block grows hollow of an anfractuosity which popular credulity compared to a leg of wolf, lending to this one miraculous capacities. In order to christianize this pagan high-place, the clergy resorted to a legend: Saint Eloi (the owner of the blacksmiths and the cutlers) has suddenly passed by-there met a wolf to which he struck if violent one blow of hammer on the leg which the print of this one remained engraved on the stone. A cross completed the recovery of the rock. Until the beginning of last century the herds gathered here which the blessing of a priest was to protect from the epidemics.
