Pascal Ory

Pascal Ory , born in 1948, is a French historian, raises Rene Rémond, specialist in cultural Histoire and political Histoire. It was interested in the Fascisme as of its control, devoted to the green Chemises of Henri Dorgères. It is one of those which have, as of the years 1970, contributed to better defining the cultural history.

He is professor at the University of Paris-I-Pantheon-Sorbonne. He chairs the Association for the development of the cultural history (ADHC) and he is regent of the Collège of 'Pataphysique.

Engaged in policy, it is city council man, former assistant of the mayor of Georges Lemoine, and socialist chief candidate with the municipal elections of March 2001, in the town of Chartres.
