Pascal III

The Antipape Pascal III , from his true name Guido da Crema , was born with Crema in Lombardy towards 1100, and died in Rome in 1168.

Elected by the imperial bishop S with died of the Antipape Victor IV, devoted by Henri II of Leez, it was Antipape of 1164 with 1168. It was supported by Frederic I {{er}} '' Barberousse '' and fought during ten years against Alexandre III.

Pascal III canonized Charlemagne in 1165, at the request of Frederic Barberousse.
