Pascal II
Pascal II , from his true name Rainier de Bleda , was born in Bleda Forlì towards 1050. He was pope of the August 13rd 1099 with the January 21st 1118, fought against the emperors Henri IV and Henri V and created the Ordre of the Knights teutonic and the Ordre of Templiers . The pontificate of this Benedictine lasted 18 years, 5 months and a week.
In 1110, it releases the patriarchat of Jerusalem antique supervision of that of Antioche. It reconsiders its decision in 1112, but Baudouin {{Ier}} of Jerusalem, which needs too its supervision on the Church of Jerusalem is unaware of this reversal deliberately.
In 1114, it protests against the marriage celebrated by the patriarch of Jerusalem Arnoul between a Christian and a Moslem woman.
In 1116, on the influence of Arnoul Malecorne, it raises the charge of bigamy which weighed on Baudouin 1st of Jerusalem.
