Pascal Crittin

Pascal Crittin , (born on November 4th, 1968 with Saint-Maurice in Were worth) is a musician, musicologist and man of radio Switzerland.

Traditional studies (section Latin-Greek) with the College of Saint-Maurice. He enters to the University of Freiburg (Swiss) to study musicology there (connects principal), near Professor Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini, and traditional philology (languages and literatures Latin and Greek). Its work of license in musicology concerns the tempo in the French Baroque music .

As of the 12 years age, it practices the music: the piano, organ and art choral. This musical field took a decisive share in its life. Pascal Crittin studied the direction of chorus, then of orchestra through training courses. As of the 16 years age, it directed several choruses, inter alia Schola of the small singers of Sion (2001-2003) and the chorus of ladies of Martigny (Were worth) the Roman (1992-1999), 1st price in 1996 of the National competition of the Swiss Union of the choral societies in Baden (Argovie), Chœurs category of ladies and choruses of men. Since 1996, it directs the Vocal ensemble of Saint-Maurice. This chorus is attached to the Basilica of the Abbey of Saint-Maurice where it animates the religious offices as well as the broadcast masses. Concurrently to this liturgical function, this chorus is famous for its concerts of oratorio.

Director of the Editions Saint-Augustin in Saint-Maurice (1994-2002), specialized in the publication of the parochial press and the religious book.

Since 2002, director of Space 2, the cultural chain of the Radio French-speaking Switzerland.
