Pascal Clément
Pascal Clément is a Politician French, born on May 12th, 1945 with Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), old Minister of Justice within the Gouvernement Dominique de Villepin.
Biography
Pascal Clement-Fromentel, known as Pascal Clément, is the son of Marcel Clément, editor catholic. Graduate of the Institute of studies political of Paris, bachelor of arts, bachelor of law, it also studied the Philosophie. He then worked as tallies with RANK XEROX, of 1971 with 1978, then was lawyer at the Court of Appeal of Paris, as from 1982.Its parliamentary career started in 1978 like deputy of the the Loire (6th district), where he was constantly re-elected since. At the time of its last mandate, begun the June 16th 2002, it chairs the Commission of the Laws of the National Assembly and is in particular rapporteur of the Loi on secularity .
He was deputy secretary with the relations with the Parliament in the Gouvernement Edouard Balladur of 1993 to 1995. President of the General advice of the the Loire since 1994, Pascal Clément was named Minister of Justice, Minister for the Justice of the June 2nd 2005 with the May 17th 2007. Re-elected appointed on June 19th, 2007, it becomes again lawyer the next on June 21st, by integrating the cabinet Orrick Rambaud Martel.
He was also regular judge, between November 1992 and May 1993, then temporary judge, between May 1987 and May 1988, with the High court.
He is married and father of four children. His wife Laure de Choiseul-Praslin is magistrate and directs since May 2005 the French Agence of adoption (AFA). She belongs to the family of the dukes of Choiseul-Praslin, which gave many ministers to France.
