Parvine Curie
Parvine Curie , born in 1936, is a sculptor French nonfigurative pertaining to the news École of Paris.
Biography
Parvine Curie, of Iranian origin free , is born with Nancy but passes its youth to Troyes, makes its studies with Bordeaux, passes its baccalaureat to Paris, where his/her parents hold a pharmacy, before accomplishing many voyages, in particular in Spain.In 1957, in its workshop of Barcelona, its first sculptures are born. In 1960, it presents its first personal exposure to the French Institute of Barcelona.
In 1970, Parvine Curie occupies a workshop in the international City of Arts in Paris. First mother , an assembly of stuck boards is noticed by the sculptor François Stahly who recognizes there a great affinity with his work of the time. It is as from 1975 her partner.
Work
The sculptures of Parvine Curie are stripped and austere by the purity of their lines and their materials.
