Party unified lumumbist
The Parti lumumbist unified (in summary PALU) is a Political party in the Democratic republic of Congo. Its general secretary is Antoine Gizenga. The party was created in 1964, inspired by the left-wing ideas of Patrice Lumumba.
In July 2006, the PALU gains 34 seats with the National Assembly at the time of the legislative elections, and its candidate (Antoine Gizenga) obtains the third place with 13,8% of the votes to the first turn of the presidential elections.
Its seat is with the n˚ 9, rue Cannas C, Limete with Kinshasa.
Defended ideas
In the absence of Congolese Communist party, one lends to Palu ideas in “social” matter.Palu rises regularly against the cut-price selling of the country to external interests, in particular Western.
