The Parti the new forces ( the NFP ) was a French party of Extrême right-hand side born in November 1974 of the Comité to make face, itself resulting from the scission of part of the members of the National front, entered in rebellion against Jean-Marie Le Pen.

History

The NFP earlier counted among its principal leaders the executive team of the movement new Ordre, dissolved a few months. One counted among his members Alain Robert, former member of the movement Occident and founder of GUD, the academic Pascal Gauchon, the journalists François Brigneau and Roland Gaucher and the draftsman Jack Marchal. It also laid out, on the ground, of two youth organizations: the Face of youth and the Group union defense - GUD.

Throughout its existence (1974-1984) the NFP tried to give an image at the same time dynamic and renovated to the “national right-hand side”. It also tries to approach the traditional right-hand side: part of its militants thus makes the service of order of Valery Giscard d'Estaing at the time of the countryside of 1974, in company of former members of OAS. The NFP multiplied the operations of prestige the such Forum with the Nouvelle right-hand side (March 1975), the launching of a luxurious review, national Initiative , the Week of the cinema of right-hand side (May 1976) and the meetings militant, against the arrival of Brejnev in Paris in June 1977, the Polisario - which held French hostages - in October of the same year, for the launching of the Eurodroite with the Italian Social movement and Fuerza Nueva in June 1978, or against the communist ministers in February 1982.

The NFP was also at the origin of unit operations of the right-hand side like the Support group with the army of the Sergeant Joel Dupuy or the Defense committee of freedom of expression at the time when the Communist party criticized highly the Parisian one released .

It had also some electoral successes since in 1983, a score of its members were elected in municipal councils on lists RPR - UDF (with Aix-en-Provence, Toulon and Hyères in particular). In 1979, the NFP presents to the European elections a list “Union French for the Eurodroite” led by Jean-Louis Tixier-Vignancour (1,33% of the voices).

But some of its attempts turn short. The NFP fails in 1981 to join together the 500 signatures to introduce Pascal Gauchon to the presidential election which withdrew then political action to be devoted to the edition, becoming responsible for a collection to the university Presses of France (PUF). He is the director of Prépasup today, a private institute specialized in the preparatory classes at the commercial universities (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP-EAP, École of management of Lyon) and at the political institutes of studies. The direction of the NFP is then entrusted to a team of young persons in charge gathered around Roland Hélie, Didier Lecerf, Jack Marchal and Olivier Cazal, however that the former leaders, like Herve Novelli or Alain Robert leave to the National center independent and country the. The NFP, joining again with the tradition activist of the extreme right-hand side, then multiplies the militant campaigns against the new capacity “socialo-Communist” . In February 1982, about thirty militants tackle into full days two ministries (Transport and Solidarity) held by communist ministers. March 19th, 1982, 150 militants of the NFP and its youth organization, the nationalist, old Revival Face of youth, breaks the procession organized by an association of war veterans close to the PC, FNACA, on the Fields-Élysées. May 2nd of the same year, they express violently with militants of RPR and organizations close to this party. In front of the scandal caused ( Le Monde title as follows: “RPR and the extreme line arm above, arm below”), Alain Robert, who continued to control the party discreetly, must break definitively and give up its idea to attract the traditional line in street demonstrations likely to degenerate.

In 1983, the NFP, the GUD and the nationalist Revival take a big part in agitation against the Loi Savary in the universities.

But the rise of the National front during the the Eighties does not leave any more space to him to the extreme right-hand side. The new direction gathered around Roland Hélie, less concerned and thus less compromised in the internal conflicts of beginning of the year 70, recommends the rallying with the FN. Several of its members (François Brigneau, Left-handed Roland) also turn over them to the National front. Alain Robert joined, since 1981, the traditional line while becoming a collaborator close relation of Charles Pasqua and Pascal Gauchon has been devoted for this period to professorship and the edition.

The NFP published two newspapers: initially national Initiative then, as from 1981, For a new force .

He knew a scission in 1986: the nationalist and European current, which took again on its account the orientations of the NFP, renamed the party “Left the nationalist forces”, under the presidency of Alain Rondanina, former city council man of Aix-en-Provence, while a current influenced by the ideas of the New right-hand side, in particular of the Groupement of research and of studies on European civilization of Alain de Benoist), added with the initials of the party the abbreviation “Natrope” (Nationalist Europeans) to be distinguished from the first. Consequently, the activity of the NFP was limited to a critical but very wide reflection on the evolutions of the company in the Années 1970 - Années 1980; in particular, in its body Lifeblood , the party was pursued the study of holding and the outcomes of the Mondialisme, of which he declared the keen enemy and which he saw under two paradoxical and competing aspects: the communist Internationalism and the Liberalism stateless person. With regard to this one, which remained alone in string after the disappearance of the Soviet empire, its work concentrated on the denunciation of the supranational circles and institutions the representative, the first of which the Trilateral Commission, the Council one Foreign Relations and the Groupe Bilderberg. Convinced that it was then still possible to be opposed to the total evolution, the NFP preached a confederal union of the European nations “of Lisbon to Moscow and of Rome to Oslo” on the basis of common value inspired by triple Greek, Roman and Christian heritage (being opposed in that resolutely to the New right-hand side of inspiration néopaïenne) and starting from a political program derived from the social Doctrine of the Church. Nevertheless, the fact that the party did not remain any more that with the state of bunch after 1986 deprived it of any resonance on the political scene.
