Party of the greens for progress

The Parti the greens for progress (PVP) is a Political party Tunisia founded N the November 14th 2005.

Recognized the March 3rd 2006, it ambitionne “to reinforce the environmental conscience” of the Tunisians and to sensitize them on the importance of this one in their life and those of the communities.

Its founder, Mongi Khamassi, originating in the Kef, belonged to the founders of the Left social-liberal (PSL) of which he is member during 17 years before resigning in September 2005. It then deposits a request to create a new party, the authorization being granted him less than 4 months later, which is regarded as a record in Tunisia. Khamassi having been elected appointed PSL at the time of the legislative elections of the October 24th 2004, the PVP obtains a seat with the House of Commons as of his creation.

It should be noted that of many green parties of the whole world, in particular the Green French and the Green Europeans, denounced the creation of this party by declaring that the true party Tunisian ecologist is actually the movement green Tunisia, of which the file, two years after its deposit, is still not accepted by the ministry for the interior.
