The Left Christian-Democrat (in Finnish: Kristillisdemokraatit and in Swedish: Kristdemokraterna ) is a political party Finnish founded in 1958. Initially called the Finnish Christian League, it becomes the party Christian Democrat to support the modern image and European of the party. It obtains 7 seats and 5,3% of the voices at the time of the parliamentary elections of 2003. The president of the party is Päivi Räsänen since 2004. The former president of the party Bjarne Kallis préstentait with the presidential election of 2006, it has obteni 2,0% of the votes.
