Parturition

The parturition is the action to put low at the Mammifère S. One speaks about:
- lambing, for the birth of a Lamb,
- Poulinage, for the birth of a foal,
- Vêlage, for the birth of a calf.
The human form of parturition is the Accouchement.
Parturition is one of the stages of the reproduction, and is preceded by the Accouplement, then by the Gestation. The adjective parturient indicates a Femelle in the course of parturition.
