Parmentier is a station of the Métro of Paris on the line 3, in the 11 {{E}} 11th district of Paris.
The station
It owes its name with Antoine Parmentier (1737 - 1813)Everyone made the bringing together of potato with Mr Parmentier, in fact his celebrity is due to the first price, which it obtained in 1773 by presenting to the Contest on the topic plants with the academy of Besancon. He was the Prize winner, by presenting his ideas on the replacements of the human consumption.
