Park of Vaise (subway of Lyon)

Gare of Vaise is a station of the line D of the subway of Lyon. It is located at the Northern terminus of the line.

History of the station

Inaugurated station on April 28th, 1997. It is located on the site of an old SNCF railway station which was rebuilt during the prolongation of the subway in 1997.

Characteristics

The station is associated with a coach station and a SNCF railway station (FOR THE THIRD TIME the Rhone-Alps), which makes a multimode pole of it. The buses serve mainly the North-western suburbs of Lyon. An exclusive right of way present allows a fast connection between the district of Valmy - Station of Vaise - Duchère.

Service road

The multimode pole of the Station of Vaise is served by urban lines TCL, trains the SNCF like by the bus interurban of the department of the Rhone (Lines 161,164 and 184)

Districts in the vicinity

The old industrial districts of Vaise are located in the vicinity. The district of Duchère overhangs the station and is connected using an exclusive right of way drunk made up of a viaduct then of a tunnel.
