Park of Rochefoucauld

The Gare of Rochefoucauld is a railway station of the French commune of Rochefoucauld, in the department of the Charente.

The station

The station is served by the trains of the network FOR THE THIRD TIME Poitou-Charentes. It is a construction more important than the other Charente-native stations of the line Saintes Limoges.

History

The Compagnie of Charentes obtains the concession of the line Angouleme Limoges in 1868 and work lasts until in 1875 with in particular the construction of the bridge on the Tardoire.

The April 1875 the train of installation of the railway personnel runs off the line.

Position of the station on the line

There are usually each day 5 outward journeys and Limoges-Angouleme returns with correspondences to Angouleme and Limoges in particular for Paris, Bordeaux, La Rochelle and Royan. All the trains stop at the station of Rochefoucauld.
