Park of Meubliers

The park of Meubliers is a Parc of Montreal. It is located in the district South-west, more precisely in the district Petite-Bourgogne, on the Rue Notre-Dame.

History

It was named thus in 1993, in the honor of the craftsmen of the 19th century who were concentrated in this sector of the city. In 1871, one counted 209 companies of manufacture of Meuble S with the Quebec including 8% in Montreal. Those counted for 34% of the production of pieces of furniture.
