Park of Laroche - Migennes
The station of Laroche - Migennes is a railway Gare of the Commune Frenchwoman of Migennes (Département of Yonne), near Laroche-Saint-Cydroine, which also gave him its name.
The station
It is located at the junction of the line Paris-Marseilles and the line towards Auxerre. It is its character of rail junction, much more than the size of the served cities, which determined the importance of this station. The station is almost regarded as the station of the agglomeration of Auxerre although during the construction of the line, the town of Auxerre refused the passage of the line on its commune.
The building of the station is the work of the architect François-Alexis Cendrier, who also built many other stations of the company of PLM.
