The Gare of the Cateau is a railway station located on the common French of the Cateau-Cambrésis (department of the Northern ).

It is served by the trains (line of Tergnier to Aulnoye).
History
Cateau was formerly connected to Valencian by Solesmes and Prouvy-Thiant and to Laon by Wassigny and Guise.
A secondary line also united Cateau with Caudry and Cambrai like with Catillon, but it did not serve this station. A specific station existed more close to the center town, on the edges of the Selle.
