Park of Brussels-Schuman
The station of Brussels Schuman is an underground station of Brussels, located on line 161, under the Berlaymont, seat of the European commission.
A project of the RER around Brussels will in the long term see this completely restructured station. A new tunnel, in the course of construction, will connect this station to the Gare Josaphat and will create a new connection between lines 161 and 26. Currently this station is still very orange.
Two-track station (more two sidings).
Facts
- January 2006: empty cars and their engine descended station of Brussels-Luxembourg to that of Schuman. They were found on a dead end of the station and are assembled on the quay, damaging overhead lines.
