Park Wood-Doves

The Gare of Wood-Doves is a railway station located on the common French of Wood-Doves in the Hauts-de-Seine, with 30m of the commune of Asnières-sur-Seine.

The station

It is served by the trains of the network Paris Saint-Lazare of the Transilien. The center lane was used formerly as terminus with the slow trains coming from Paris Saint-Lazare. In the vicinity was gone up in 1899 the landing stage of Field-of-March of the World Fair of 1878 which was used as 1924 with 1939 of electric station (terminus of the shuttles before they use the center lane). This building of Right Lisch, also called station of Carbonnets , is registered with the additional inventory of the historic buildings since the August 13rd 1985.
La current station was drawn by Urbain Cassan and goes back to 1935. It was rebuilt during the digging of distinct which allowed the suppression of the level crossings which caused already very large congestions, in particular that of the Street of the Burgundian ones.

  • the station of Wood-Doves is one of very rare (seven in the Hauts-de-Seine and with Paris) the stations of the transilien to be appeared on the plan the RATP subway the RER tram of Paris which one finds in all the stations of the Parisian subway.
