Park Plain - Stade de France

The Station of the Plain - Stade de France is one of the three stations railway which serves the French commune of Saint-Denis, in the department of the Seine-Saint-Denis. It more particularly serves the central zone of the Plaine Saint-Denis.

The station

The station is served by the trains of the line B of the RER. Brought into service in 1998, at the time of the Football world cup of 1998, it is the work of the architect Jean-Marie Duthilleul. The structure of the station is suspended with cables. Its architectural vocabulary thus echoes the Stade de France, which it serves.

Like all the recent stations, it is accessible to the people with reduced mobility.

The station of the Plain - Stade de France replaces the old station of the Plain-Travellers , located at the Pont of Soissons (RN1), too small and which was not adapted any more to the needs for the district.
