Park Costero LED On

The Réserve of the biosphere of Parks in Argentine is a natural zone protected in the province from Buenos Aires located on Right Bank from the Río from Plata in the municipe from Magdalena. The Reserve of the Biosphere, is sponsored by UNESCO.

Situation

Latitude southern 36º and Longitude 57º 30 ' west. Surface: 30 000 hectares more or less. Altitude: from 0 to 8 meters.

This park extends in the area located between the town of Plata capital from the province and the center from the Baie from Samborombón, between the coast of the Río of Plata and the trunk road n° 11.

Flora

The flora and the fauna of the zone of the park are caracteristic subtropical medium and are thus the continuation of the biomes observed since the North-East of the country, along the large rivers of the basin of the río of Plata. It is the river itself which creates the microclimate necessary for the subsistence of these species.

The Catholic student (Celtis Catholic student), is undoubtedly the tree most representative of this reserve. It is a tree which reaches up to 10 meters in height, of light gray bark, with branches in zigzag and which with each angle have spines of 5 millimetres length and oval sheets of 2 centimetres.
