The Paris Université Club ( PUC ) is a general sports club Paris founded IEN in November 1905. It is a “civil” club and not a school or university club. Its foundation is related to the difficult access terms (high co-optation and contributions) of use with the Racing Club of France and with the French Stade. The General association of the students of Paris, founded in 1904, is at the origin of this creation in November 1905. Fusion with the friendly Sports association of school of Paris gives birth in May 1906 to the PUC. Eugene Olivier, medical student, becomes the first president about it. The PUC automatically takes part in the competitions civilians and some of its members, in addition student, also take part in university competitions.
Paris Université Club writes its legend on the tracks, courts and grounds of the prestigious Charléty stage. Today, it is combined with the Cité international academic of Paris to become, with the threshold of XXIe century, the club general sports convivial and international, ambitious and modern that the sportsmen of the capital wait.
