Paris is a city of the the United States Comté of Bourbon (Kentucky). It counted 9183 inhabitants in 2000 for a surface of 17,6 km ².

The city was founded in 1775 under the name of Hopewell. It is renamed Paris in reference to the French capital in 1790 in homage to the French assistance during the war of American independence.
