Paris-Camembert cheese is a semi-traditional race cyclist French which connects the town of Magnanville to that of Vimoutiers.

It exists since 1934 under the name of Paris - Vimoutiers, before being called Paris - Camembert starting from 1937.

Of a 200 km length it is a demanding race with final difficult (seven coasts from 9% to 17% of slope in the last 80 kilometers).

It is today traditional international of category 1.1. The race also counts for the Coupe de France of cycling on road.

The objective of the organizers is to insert the Paris-Camembert cheese in the Pro-Turn, new professional circuit set up by UCI.

The 66e edition of the race was held the March 29th 2005, with the presence of the victorious sextuple of the Tour de France, Lance Armstrong finishes in 24e position. The victory returns to Laurent Brochard which gains the race for the 3rd time after its victory of 2001 and 2003.

The race proceeded the April 17th 2007 on a distance of 205 km. It is French Sebastien Jolly of the French of the Plays which carries it after having taken part in a escaped as of the 35e kilometer and in an average from 45,2 km/h.
