Parinacota
The Parinacota is a Volcan located at the bolivo-Chilean border in the area of Tarapacá to the Chile and in the Département of Oruro in Bolivia in the Andes cordillera. This Stratovolcan has an altitude of 6 348 meters.
With the Pomerape it forms the Nevados de Payachatas, former gods for the inhabitants of the Altiplano Andean as well Bolivian as Chilean.
Its first rise took place the December 12th 1928 by Bolivian Carlos Terán and the Austrian Joseph Prem.
